Ordering Over The Holiday Period
December 16th, 2007Due to the holiday period we wont be able to dispatch orders as normal. Instead we can only dispatch orders on the following dates.
Dec 17th - 22nd
Dec 27th
Dec 28th
Jan 2nd
Any orders placed in between these dates will be dispatched on the next available date. For example if you order on Christmas eve your order will be dispatched on the 27th.
After Jan 2nd ordering will be back to normal.
UPDATE: We will not be able to post orders on the 27th and 28th. Sorry for any inconvenience.

New Forum
November 15th, 2007We have a new forum. We encourage you to sign up and help us start our own little community. You can also leave bit requests here or leave us feedback regarding our service or products. We also have a board set up for general banter as well as Warhammer fantasy and 40k chat.
We have had a forum before in the past but due to server changes we couldn’t transfer it over but we wont have a problem this time so the forum will be able to grow and grow.
Paypal Changes
November 13th, 2007We have made a couple of changes to our Paypal system. You will now notice our logo at the top of the page when you pay with Paypal. Also instead of having to click to return to our site after payment, Paypal will now redirect you automatically. Please allow Paypal to redirect you as your order may not go through otherwise.
Halloween Offers
October 29th, 2007Halloween is nearly upon us and to mark the occasion this year Bitzbox will have half price on Undead Zombies and Skeletons! Yes every Zombie and Skeleton Regiment bit will be half price from the 30th October to 1st November so get them while they’re cheap.

New Layout and Picture Quality
September 13th, 2007We have changed the look of the website slightly. We now have a nice search box right in the middle of the header so it’s easier to search through our range. Some of the links from the side of the page are now at the bottom and we have an adsense link.
You may also be aware that our images are now a lot better thanks to our new camera and set up. Just for fun I would like to show you a comparison of one of our first images to one of the images we have now.
New Server Again
September 1st, 2007We are now on our 3rd server since we started Bitzbox almost a year ago. This server is even better than the last one and we shouldn’t have any downtime at all. We have not really had much on the last server however Bitzbox has recently gotten very big and has been using up a lot of bandwidth so we have moved onto a better server that will be able to handle it.
New newsletter goodness
August 18th, 2007We now have a nice shiny new newsletter program which subscribers would have seen the nice shiny result. We now also have a sign up form on the side of our main website. All you need to do is enter your email address in there and send it to us and you will be added to our mailing list.
Sorry there are no new bits on the site in the last week. We are waiting on the arrival of a nice new digi cam which will be here this week so expect new bits on the site by the end of the week.
Royal Mail Postage Strikes
August 4th, 2007As you may be away, Royal Mail staff have been on strike and will be for the next few days over different areas. This of course will have some effect on your orders. If your bits are a day or two later than expected please be aware that this is because of the strikes. Remember, any orders placed before 12 noon any weekday will be dispatched on that day. Any orders placed afterwards will be dispatched the next day. We do not dispatch orders at weekends. Also please note that we may not be dispatching orders on August 6th 2007 and they will be dispatched on the 7th instead.
We also are thinking about offering free UK postage whenever there is a bank holiday weekend to make up for the extra day of not being able to dispatch orders.
Reward Points and Credit Card Payments
June 4th, 2007We now have a reward point system. Each point is worth 1p and for every pound you spend you will earn one point. You can use points towards payment for future orders. The point system will start on the 5th June which means any orders before that date will not earn points. If by any chance there is an error in a stock or a bit has gone walk abouts we can now reward you with points up to the cost of the missing bits for you to use on the website.
EDIT: The reward points are disabled until we have finished tweaking them as they are not working 100%
We will also be setting up a nochex account so you can pay easily with credit/debit cards on orders up to £100. That should be up and running by the end of the 5th of June providing we do not hit any snags. Also we did promise google checkout but you may be aware it is still a bit buggy in it’s early stages so we are giving it a miss for now.
