This model was inspired by the old Rogue trader boxed set marines. Although temped to do him in crimson fists heraldry, I instead decided to do him in the old vanilla-flavoured Ultramarine blue and white. The MKI bolter is actually an altered bike bolter (either one will do) with the mag-assembly of a MKIII bolter attached to the front end.
I deliberately chose armour parts from the tactical sprue that reflected their MKVI (rtb01) predecessors and where none where available, I altered my own via cutting, shaving and re-sculpting (the backpack and right pad for example).
