Q. How Much Will You Give Me For My Bits?
A. We will usually give you 50% of what we will eventually sell your bits for. If we haven't got your bits on our site in stock we will usually take them but if we have an excess on the site we may not make you an offer.
Q. How Do I Get In Touch About Selling Bits?
A. Send us an email to sales@bitzbox.co.uk with a list of the bits you have, along with quantities. All bits must be in “off the sprue” condition. This means that there must be no marks on them, no paint, no glue, no damage to them and if there's more than one part to the piece, like hatch doors for instance, both parts must be present.
Q. What Bits Are You Most Likely To Purchase?
A. If you are selling a large number of bits from one boxed set it is quite likely that we will just buy that boxed set ourselves. Also if you are trying to sell us bits that we have a lot of in stock on our website then it is likely we wont purchase them either. We have created a page of our most wanted bits that can be found here.
Q. What Do I Need To Send You If You Buy My Bits?
A. We will send you the agreed payment amount (including the cost of postage to us) via PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, sign up for one (it's free) at http://www.paypal.com.
You should send us your bits as soon as you receive payment(no longer than 5 days please) and the same way we send them to you, securely and well packed. If they are in a Jiffy or MailLite type bubble padded envelope please store the bits inside a smaller plastic sealed bag (grip seal freezer bags work well) in order to stop them from getting lost out of badly sealed envelopes.
If you are sending them in a box, please make sure that all the bits inside are again stored inside a smaller sealed bag and that edges are sealed with some kind of tape.
Along with the bits, a list of the parts inside would be nice, but is not essential. We will let you know when your bits are delivered to us and whether we require any further action from you.
Please do not send us your bits in a standard envelope as these do not offer an adequate level of protection against bumps and knocks in the normal course of delivery.
